Referral Program Terms

These terms govern participation in the AppsCyborg Referral Program (the “Program”). By using the Program, you agree to these terms in addition to the main Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. How the Program works

  • Any AppsCyborg account holder (a “Referrer”) receives a unique 8-character referral code, visible at /my-account/refer.
  • When a new visitor (a “Referee”) visits https://appscyborg.com/ using the Referrer's link, our website stores the referral code in the visitor's browser for 30 days.
  • If, within 90 days of signing up, the Referee purchases a Yearly or Lifetime plan, the Referrer receives 30 additional days of paid access added to their existing account expiration date.
  • The reward is added automatically after the Referee's purchase is confirmed and applies to the same plan tier the Referrer already holds.

2. What the reward is (and is not)

The reward is:

  • 30 days of additional access to AppsCyborg, added to the Referrer's account expiration.
  • Applied only to the Referrer's own account.
  • Available only for as long as the Referrer's account remains active.

The reward is not:

  • Cash, gift card, credit balance, store credit, or any form of transferable or refundable value.
  • Redeemable for anything other than continued access to AppsCyborg.
  • Convertible between plan tiers or accounts.
  • Assignable, transferable, or sellable.

3. Reward caps

  • A Referrer may earn a maximum of 24 rewards over the lifetime of their account, corresponding to up to 720 additional days of access.
  • Rewards earned beyond the 24-cap are recorded for internal accounting but do not extend the Referrer's account expiration further.
  • We enforce short-window velocity limits (5 per 24 hours, 15 per 7 days, 30 per 30 days) to detect probable fraud. Rewards blocked by these limits do not accrue.

4. When rewards are reversed

A reward will be reversed (subtracted from the Referrer's account expiration) if any of the following occur:

  • The Referee refunds their qualifying purchase within the payment provider's window (Stripe or PayPal).
  • The Referee's account is deleted.
  • The Referrer's account is blocked for a violation of the main Terms of Service.
  • The Referrer's account is deleted.
  • The referral is determined by AppsCyborg to have been made using fraudulent means, including but not limited to self-referral, coordinated multi-account signups, and automated referral link enumeration.

Reversals are permanent. In the case of a good-faith Referee refund followed by a re-purchase, the same reward is not re-issued.

5. Fair use

The Program is intended to reward genuine word-of-mouth referrals. The following practices are prohibited and will result in reversal of the affected rewards and potential account suspension:

  • Self-referral (using your own referral code, or the code of an account under your control).
  • Referring accounts that share a payment method, IP address, or contact method with you, unless those referrals were made in good faith.
  • Advertising the referral link in a way that misrepresents AppsCyborg or the Program's terms.
  • Automated posting, bot-driven traffic, or paid distribution of the referral link on platforms that prohibit affiliate posting.

6. Disclosure

If you share your referral link on social media or other platforms, you may be legally required to disclose that you receive a benefit when someone signs up through it. Common disclosure formats include:

  • #ad or #affiliate in the post.
  • A plain-language statement such as “I get 30 days added to my subscription when you sign up through this link.”

You are responsible for complying with disclosure laws that apply to you.

7. Program changes

We may modify or discontinue the Program at any time. Changes to these terms take effect on the date they are posted here, unless a notice period is specified.

Rewards that were already earned (i.e. the Referee's qualifying purchase was already committed) at the time of a change are grandfathered under the terms in effect at the time of that purchase. Program modifications do not retroactively reverse earned rewards, other than under the conditions listed in Section 4.

8. Termination

Your participation in the Program ends automatically when your AppsCyborg account is closed or terminated for any reason. Unredeemed reward days (days added to your account expiration) that had not yet elapsed at the time of account termination are not payable, redeemable, or transferable.

9. Governing law and disputes

These Program Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with Estonian law, and any disputes relating to these Terms will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Estonia. This mirrors the governing-law clause of the main Terms and Conditions.
