Two steps

1

Copy the page link

https://example.com/article
Copy it straight from the address bar — an article, a product page, a recipe, a set of docs. Any public URL works.
2

Download the PDF

pdf-cyborg.pdf A4 · selectable text · images kept
Paste it in and the PDF renders in seconds — ready to email, print, annotate or file away.

Public pages only. Anything that needs your login, your cookies or a paywall subscription — a bank statement, a private dashboard, a members-only article — cannot be reached, because the page is visited as an anonymous stranger. Addresses on a private network are refused as well. Your download link stays live for 60 minutes, then the file is deleted.

Why not just press Print to PDF?

Because your browser's print view is a lottery: cookie banners baked in, a sticky header on every page, images dropped, a page break through the middle of a table. Here the page is rendered properly, on our servers.

The full page

The page is scrolled to the bottom before anything is printed, so lazy-loaded images and text are in — and long articles come out whole, paginated onto A4.

Layout and images intact

Photos, charts and tables land where they were on the page. Background graphics are printed too, which your browser leaves off unless you find the checkbox.

Real text, not a picture

The PDF is a document, so you can select, search, copy and annotate the text. If you want a flat image of the page instead, that is a different tool.

Works on your phone

Any current Android browser, and iOS 12 and up — where there is no print dialog to speak of. Nothing to install.

Print to PDF is free and fine when you only need the gist. It stops being fine the moment the PDF has to be the record: a clipped page, a cookie banner across the first sheet, images silently dropped because background graphics was unchecked. Extensions fix some of that but need install rights, work only in the one desktop browser you installed them in, and are usually paid for with permission to read every page you visit. The row we lose is real, though: an extension is inside your session, so it can save pages behind your login and this cannot.

What people save pages as PDFs for

A PDF goes everywhere a link doesn't: into an email, a case file, a reading list, a folder that still works when the page is gone.

Research and citations

Keep the source exactly as you read it, so a footnote still resolves to something a year from now.

O

Offline reading

Long reads on a flight or a commute, on a tablet or an e-reader, with no signal and no tracking scripts.

C

Client and team hand-offs

Send the page itself for review or sign-off — annotatable, and identical on everyone's screen.

P

Prices and listings

Capture a quote, a listing or a spec sheet on the day you saw it, before the page quietly changes.

L

Legal and compliance files

Terms, policies and public statements attached to a matter as documents, not as links that rot.

P

Printing

A recipe, a boarding guide, a manual — on A4, without half the sheet being navigation.

Wherever it's going, paste the link and get the PDF back.

Common questions

Getting started

What is PDF Cyborg?
A web app that saves any public webpage as a PDF. Paste the URL and it renders the whole page — text, images and layout — onto A4 pages you can download, email, print or file.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, and it is where the tool helps most, since phone browsers have no real print dialog. Works on current Android browsers and on iOS 12 and higher, with nothing to install. The walkthrough shows a full run.
Why is this better than a browser extension?
Nothing installs and nothing gains permission to read the pages you visit; the tool does one thing, so pagination and images are handled properly; rendering happens on our servers rather than your device; and it works on any device with a browser instead of only the desktop you installed the extension on. An extension wins on one thing — it is inside your session, so it can save pages behind your login.
How long does it take?
Usually seconds. The page is loaded in a real browser and scrolled to the bottom first so nothing lazy-loaded is missing, which is most of the wait; a very long page takes a little longer.

Using it

Is the text in the PDF selectable?
Yes. The page is rendered as a real document, so the text stays selectable and searchable rather than being flattened into one big picture. If you specifically want a flat image of the page, use Screenshot Cyborg instead.
Can I convert a page behind a login or a paywall?
No. The page is visited anonymously, without your account or cookies, so anything that needs you to be signed in — a dashboard, a bank statement, a members-only article — is not reachable. Addresses on a private network are refused too. Public pages work.
It says the URL is not valid — what does that mean?
The box needs a complete address, copied from the browser's address bar — like https://example.com/article. A search-result snippet, a shortened link that no longer resolves, or a partial paste won't work.
When does the download link expire?
After 60 minutes, and the file is deleted then. Save the PDF as soon as it is ready; after that you would run the conversion again.
It doesn't work for me — what now?
Check the URL opens in a private browsing window without signing in first — if it doesn't, the page isn't public. If it does and the conversion still fails, write to Support with the link you tried — we usually reply within a day.

Pricing, privacy and rights

How much does it cost?
Creating an account is free; converting needs a plan. €1 buys 24 hours of unlimited conversions, €6 a year, €30 once for lifetime access (+ VAT), and every plan unlocks all 79 tools with a 7-day money-back guarantee. There is no free tier.
Do you keep my PDFs or track what I convert?
The link you paste is never recorded — we keep no list of which pages anyone converted — and the PDF is deleted when the 60-minute link expires. What the site does record is ordinary usage: that an account ran this tool, and when, the same as every other tool here, as our privacy policy sets out. Worth stating precisely rather than calling the whole thing anonymous: the run is logged, the address is not.
Can I republish the PDF I make?
PDF Cyborg does not grant you rights to someone else's page. The text and images still belong to their author — personal use, research and internal records are usually fine; credit the source, and get permission before publishing or selling it.
Still have a question?
We usually reply within a day.
