Keep the part that matters

Upload an image, drag a rectangle over the bit you want, download exactly that. The box shows the size of the file you'll get as you drag, and you can type an exact width and height if a slot demands one. Nothing re-scaled, no editor to open and no install — it works the same on a work laptop you can't put software on.

No watermark, no ads across the canvas, nothing kept afterwards

Two steps. That's it.

1

Upload and draw the box

JPG · PNG · WEBP · GIF · one at a time
Drag the rectangle, nudge the edges, watch the pixel size as you go — or type a width and height and let it snap there. No layers, no tool palette, no learning it first.
2

Download just that area

team-offsite-cropped.jpg Same format · no watermark
You get the cropped area at its original pixel density — cut from the file you uploaded, not from the preview you were dragging on.

Cropping throws pixels away for good The area outside the box isn't hidden, it's gone — so keep your original, because nothing can uncrop the copy later. It's one image per go, which is the right shape for a considered crop and the wrong shape for two hundred of them. If the crop leaves the file bigger than you need, Compress Image Cyborgfollows on neatly, and if the upload form wants a different format, Image to JPG Cyborg— both in the same account. Your download link stays live for 60 minutes.

Your computer can already crop. So why this?

It can, and if you're sitting at your own machine with a photo app open, use it. This is for the times that isn't the situation.

Nothing to install

A locked-down work laptop, a borrowed machine, a Chromebook — a browser is all it needs.

You can see the pixels

The box reports the size of the file you'll download as you drag, and takes an exact width and height, so hitting a required banner or avatar dimension isn't guesswork.

Your images stay yours

Nothing kept, published or used to train anything. Files go when the 60-minute link expires.

Cropping is not a hard problem, and paying for it only makes sense in the specific spots the free options fall down: a machine you can't install on, a WEBP the built-in viewer refuses to open, an exact pixel size a listing or an ad slot demands, or a free web editor you'd rather not hand a customer photo to between two banner ads. If none of that is you, crop it where you are — and if any of it is, the €1 that got you in covers this and the other 78 tools too.

Trimming a screenshot

Cutting something out

A bystander, a street sign, a stray bin at the edge of an otherwise good photo.

Banners & header slots

A wide strip out of a tall photo, cut to the dimensions the template actually asks for.

Avatars & profile photos

Crop the square yourself instead of letting the upload form decide where your chin ends.

Listings & marketplaces

Tighten onto the item so the thumbnail shows the product, not the whole kitchen table.

Slides & documents

A crop that fills the placeholder properly instead of being squashed to fit it.

Whatever it's for, upload the image and download the area you drew.

Common questions

Files & getting started

Can I hit an exact pixel size?
Yes. The rectangle reports the size of the file you'll download while you drag, and there are width and height boxes to type an exact number into if dragging won't land on it — a 4032-pixel photo shown in a 600-pixel preview moves in steps of about seven pixels, which is close but not exact, so the boxes are how you get to 1200 × 630 rather than 1196. One limit worth knowing: a crop can only ever make an image smaller. If the slot needs more pixels than your photo has, no crop will produce them.
Is my original changed?
Never — the crop is a new file and your original stays exactly where it was. That matters more here than with most tools, because cropping is the one edit nothing can reverse afterwards.
Which formats can I upload?
JPG, PNG, WEBP and GIF, up to 200 MB — including the WEBP files that plenty of desktop viewers still refuse to open. You get the same format back. For anything more exotic, Image to JPG Cyborg converts first.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, it runs in any browser. On a phone your own photo app is usually quicker for a rough crop; this is the better option when you need a precise size or a format the phone won't open.

The crop itself

Can it rotate or straighten as well?
No — it cuts a straight rectangle, nothing else. That's deliberate: one job, no tool palette. A tilted horizon needs a real editor.
Can I undo a crop later?
Not from the cropped file — the discarded area is genuinely gone. Your original is untouched though, so keep it and crop again from that if you change your mind. If it's the file size you want to bring down rather than the frame, Compress Image Cyborgdoes that without cutting anything away, and Image to JPG Cyborgchanges the format if that's the real problem.
Does the image lose quality?
The kept area comes back at its original pixel density — nothing is scaled up or down, and the crop is cut from the file you uploaded rather than from the preview. A cropped JPG is saved again, so as with any JPG edit there's one more compression pass; at normal quality settings you won't see it. PNG and WEBP keep their transparency, and a GIF stays a GIF.
Which photos suit it?
Any that need a particular shape or have something in the frame you'd rather wasn't. It is least useful on a picture that is already the size and shape you need, and on one so small that cutting into it leaves too few pixels for whatever comes next.
Can I choose the aspect ratio?
There's no ratio lock, but the width and height boxes get you the same place: type both and you have your ratio exactly, whether that's a 1:1 avatar or a 1.91:1 link preview.
What size can the image be?
Up to 200 MB, one at a time. Very large photographs are fine — the preview you drag on is scaled down so the page stays responsive, but the crop itself is always taken from the full-size original.
Can I crop several images at once?
One at a time — a crop is a decision about a particular picture, and the same rectangle rarely suits the next one. A day pass covers as many as you like within the 24 hours.
When does the download link expire?
After 60 minutes. Save the crop as soon as it's ready — after that the link expires and you'd upload again.

Pricing, privacy & rights

How much does it cost?
A €1 day pass gives you 24 hours of unlimited crops. Yearly is €6 and lifetime is €30. All three are one-off payments — nothing renews and nothing bills you next month — and every plan unlocks all 79 AppsCyborg tools.
What happens to my image?
It's used to make the crop and then deleted along with it when the 60-minute link expires. Nothing is kept, published, indexed or used to train anything, and requests are anonymous — no ads, no trackers.
Can I use the crop commercially?
If the image is yours, so is the crop — put it in the listing, the ad or the catalogue, with no watermark or attribution required. If someone else took the photo, cropping it doesn't transfer their rights.
