What is Image to PDF Cyborg?

A web app that merges your images into one PDF. Drop in up to 50 JPG, PNG, WEBP or GIF files, drag them into the order you want, and download a single PDF with one image per page.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes — and it’s often where the photos already are. Pick them straight from your camera roll on Android or on iOS 12 and higher. Nothing to install.

Which formats can I drop in?

JPG, PNG, WEBP and GIF, and you can mix them in the same batch. The picker will let you choose other image types, but those four are the ones we test. Something more unusual — TIFF, HEIC, RAW, PSD, SVG — run it through Image to JPG Cyborg first, then merge.

What happens to an animated GIF?

It becomes a single page, using the first frame. The rest of the animation is dropped — a PDF page can’t move, and a fifty-frame GIF would otherwise add fifty pages to your document.

Using it

How do I control the page order?

Drag the thumbnails. After uploading, each image shows a number — move them around until the sequence is right, then convert. The PDF follows exactly that order.

What if I have more than 50 images?

Run them in batches of 50 — there’s no daily limit while your pass is active. You’ll get one PDF per batch, which you can then combine.

Is the text in my scans searchable?

No. Each page is the image itself, so text inside a photo stays part of the picture — there’s no OCR step. That’s usually what you want for evidence and receipts; if you need selectable text from a document, use Extract Text PDF Cyborg.

Are my images resized or recompressed?

Each image gets its own page sized to fit it, at the resolution you uploaded — no downscaling and no quality tax. A batch of large photos simply makes a larger PDF; run it through Compress PDF Cyborg if it needs to fit an email limit.

When does the download link expire?

After 60 minutes. Save the PDF as soon as it’s ready — after that the link expires and you’d upload the images again.

Putting an image in a PDF doesn’t change who owns it. Personal use, research and internal records are usually fine — credit the source, and get permission before publishing or selling the result.
